Tamara Basham
Tamara completed her bachelor's and master's degrees at Texas Christian University and is presently a graduate student in Integrative Biology at the University of Texas at Austin. Her dissertation research addresses how ecosystems processes in central Texas grasslands are altered by the invasion of King Ranch Bluestem. Tamara is co-advised by Christine Hawkes at UT-Austin.
Daniel Brese
Daniel completed his undergraduate degree at Bennington College. He is working on the elevational gradient of flux towers spanning grassland to mixed conifer forest in central and northern New Mexico.
Ann Thijs
Ann completed her undergraduate and master's degrees in Belgium (KULeuven) and is a graduate student in Integrative Biology at the University of Texas at Austin. Ann is using small scale physiological measurements and isotopic analyses to quantify the contributions of dominant ecosystem components to net ecosystem exchange of carbon in a mesquite-juniper savanna.
Ryan Evansen
Ryan completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin. He will be starting his master's degree in Fall 2007.
