Research Interests: Natural history of mammals of the Southwest, especially Texas, New Mexico and Mexico, mammalian systematics, particularly those of the genus Peromyscus, and conservation of habitats. Currently, he is working on a new edition of Bats of Texas, and a new book about the historical changes in the landscape of New Mexico over the past 100 years. |
