BRUCE MILNE HONORED AS DISTINGUISHED LANDSCAPE ECOLOGIST BY US-IALE

In March 2006, the U.S. Regional Association of the International Association of Landscape Ecology (IALE) honored Dr. Bruce T. Milne, Professor of Biology, with the 2006 Distinguished Landscape Ecologist Award at its annual meeting in San Diego, CA. This prestigious award recognizes distinguished scientific contributions to the field of landscape ecology. Dr. Milne joins an impressive list of scientists whose work has helped to shape the field of landscape ecology. Dr. Milne earned his Ph.D. in Botany and Plant Physiology from Rutgers in 1985. His research focuses on ecology; landscape ecology; multivariate statistics and fractal geometry.
