The Rewards and Recognition Committee for the UNM Staff Council and President Schmidly announced on Monday, November 23, 2009 the 2009 Gerald W. May Outstanding Staff Award recipients: Maria Guadalupe (Lupe) Atencio, IMSD Program Coordinator, Department of Biology; Kim Kloeppel of Student Affairs; and Ryan Lindquist of Student Activities Center. A celebration of these wonderful co-workers will be held on Thursday, December 3 from 3:00–4:00 p.m. in the SUB, Ballroom C. The awards ceremony will be followed by a reception, and Kathy Wimmer will once again enchant her audience with her Celtic harp playing. Past May Award winners are invited to join the celebration.
