RESEARCH INTERESTS

Recent interests from 2000: General interests: comparative immunology, molecular parasitology, schistosomiasis. Specific interests: 1) molecular mechanisms of the freshwater snail Biomphalaria and the larval parasite Schistosoma interactions and 2) biology of adult schistosome parasites in mammalian hosts.

 

Past interests before 2000: General interests: fish genetics, fisheries sciences, aquaculture. Specific interests: 1) Genetics and breeding of cultured Asian carps and 2) conservation genetics of endangered sturgeons.
