spheroid to subspheroid; number of walls: 2; wall thickness: ~1.02; wall
characteristics: outer layer smooth, colorless; L x W: 17.3 x 16.5 (13-20 x 14-20); L/W ratio: 1.1 (1.0-1.2); M: absent; OR: absent; PG: 1, large. Distinctive features of oocyst: none.
Description of sporocysts and
sporozoites: Sporocyst shape: piriform; L x W: 14.9 x 10.7 (8-12 x 12-18); L/W ratio: 1.4 (1.2-1.8); SB: present, rounded; SSB: absent; PSB: absent; SR: present; SR
characteristics: granular material in center of sporocyst; SP: surround SR and have RB at one end. Distinctive features of sporocyst: rounded SB.
Prevalence: 1 of 1 (100%).
Sporulation: Exogenous. Oocysts were
stored in 2.5% (w/v) aqueous potassium dichromate solution at
ambient temp. prior to examination.

Unknown.
Site of infection: Unknown.
Oocysts found in intestinal scrapings.
Materials deposited: Oocysts in 10% formaldehyde-saline solution and phototypes deposited in the Parasitology Collection in the Dept. of Animal Parasitology, UFRRJ, Seropedica, EJ, Brazil, No. P-011/2004.
Remarks: This species has not been
reported since its original description.
