present; SR characteristics: ~6, often appearing as an elongate
aggregation of granules; SP:
14 x 2.5, with nucleus 2.5-3 in diameter and situated between
slightly larger ovoid RBs. Distinctive features of
sporocyst: presence of SB and SR.
Prevalence: 6 of 42 (14%).
Sporulation: Exogenous. Oocysts
sporulated within 3-5 days in 2% aqueous (w/v)
potassium dichromate solution.
